About

LumenFox Play started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other screenshots and arguing about control schemes. At some point we figured we should write it all down somewhere people could actually read it. So here we are, a small independent desk with no publisher behind us.

Everything you read is from someone who installed the game, played it for hours, and formed an opinion. We don't rewrite press releases. If a touch control is mushy or a tutorial drags, we say so plainly.,We pick games across every genre, not just the puzzle stuff that's easy to cover. RPGs, racers, strategy, slow management sims, quick arcade things for the bus ride. A game earns a spot in our catalogue if it does something worth talking about, good or bad.,We also care about the boring practical things nobody writes about: how hot your phone gets, how fast the battery drops, which settings to turn down so the frame rate stops stuttering. That stuff matters more than a shiny trailer.,If you want to pitch a game or tell us we got something wrong, the contact page is right there. We read everything, even the grumpy messages.

Markus Vogel — Markus has been reviewing mobile and handheld games for over a decade and still keeps a drawer full of old phones for testing. He's the one who insists every review mentions battery drain.
